The DL8, using mobile service, is installed to the power receiving equipment, which is located outdoors. It is used to monitor the various power loads in the hotel and record the data.
For the measurement of electrical power, the client used either the Multi Power Input Module (model: R3-WTU) of the Remote I/O R3 Series, or the Multi Power Monitoring Module (model: R7EWTU) of the Remote I/O R7 Series for a small number of circuits.
The power, current, and watthours measured by the R3-WTU or R7EWTU are collected by Modbus/TCP communication on the DL8 and displayed on the web screen.
By using the FTP client function of the DL8, the data (CSV files) is regularly uploaded to the computer and saved to a PC installed in the hotel’s office.
